Graham doesn't see it. He never has and he doesn't believe he ever will. He sees lines, angles, colors, and shadows. He draws them. Gardens, lakes, statues. All beautiful and full of life even when they aren't. He can't draw what he can't see.

That's what he tells himself when he ponders why he's never done a self portrait of himself.
